Manganese metal is smelted in tilting refining electric furnace. After the upper furnace is discharged from the furnace, part of lime is added to the bottom of the furnace first. A small amount of high silicon manganese silicon alloy is added on top of the lime. After starting the arc, a mixture of manganese-rich slag and lime is added. Manganese silicon alloy is added gradually during the melting process to help melting and reduce slag alkalinity. Add all manganese-silicon alloy after full melting, adjust the silicon content and leave the furnace after passing. Mn metal contains Mn>93,5%, SI<1.8%, Fe<2.8%, P<0.06%, C<0.20%. The production of lt manganese metal (Mn95%~98%) consumes 1.9~2.0t of manganese-rich slag (Mn4.8%), 0.62t of high-silicon manganese-silicon alloy, 2.0t of lime (CaO>9 0%), 0,2T fluorspar és 3, 000 ~ 3 400 kW-H villamos energia, mangán visszanyerési aránya 72%~ 75%.
